Registered Training Organisation
The ECCFCSC is a Registered Training Organisation for the purpose of providing training, assessment and credentials in Certificate III in Children’s Services, CHC30708.
Successful completion of the CHC30708 Certificate III in Children’s Services may lead to employment as a Childcare Assistant or Child Care Worker with other employers.
The key learners for this qualification are existing and potential casual Bicultural Support Program (BSP) workers. These workers support children from Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD), Refugee and Indigenous backgrounds in child care settings. The ECCFCSC is committed to provide the Bicultural Support Workers with the skills and competency to work effectively in children’s services and assist them with their career path.
All learners who undertake the CHC30708 Certificate III in Children’s Services will be provided with advice on further training and employment opportunities. This qualification has the 12 pre-requisite units of competency for the CHC50908 Diploma of Children’s Services (Early childhood education and care). The core generic units are also found in many other community services qualifications and can be used for credit transfer for further studies.
