8. Questions need to be kept in mind (these questions are not formal, however from talking to the parents, you integrate these questions into the conversation, with the aim to find out more about the child’s care needs and his/her ability).
9. Questions about how to deal with a child’s challenging behaviours or illness (i.e. if he/she gets upset, as a parent, are there any recommended methods that can calm the child down).

Things to be obtained

• Signature for Allergy, photo permission, CIARR, and Consent forms
• Diagnosis of the child
• Details of the child’s behaviours in order to create a comprehensive Care Plan to appropriately meet his/her care needs and enhance his ability.
